Cap and gown in hand, Jayme Burton Arnold opened a small dessert catering business. Her labor of love was a nod to her inspirations; her mother and grandmother. In 1994, she began training with mentor, Matt Kelley, former Executive Chef of the Polo Grill, and owner of Lucky’s and Lucky’s on the Green. While at the Polo Grill, she worked her way from prep line to pantry, where she was ultimately commissioned with pastries and hors d’oeuvres.
While serving as a private cook for a Tulsa family, she spent 2 years creating and perfecting her dishes. Jayme’s passion for health and food inspired her to re-construct her family’s traditional recipes to incorporate fresh, organic ingredients. In 2007, Jayme opened the catering company, Foodie Biz, LLC. Trust us, once you’ve had her pumpkin cheesecake, you’ll never set another Thanksgiving table without it. And her pistachio and chocolate macaroons are a must.
