Tulsa firefighter and former Oklahoma State University wrestler, John Buck received his certification as a Cooper Clinic Physical Fitness Specialist (2001), and later Level 1 Certifications in
Cross Fit and MovNat.
His 17 years as a personal trainer has revealed that there is no silver bullet to achieve strength and conditioning goals. Buck believes that physical stamina also includes a sound mind and spirit, and that training is not a competition, but rather a test of one’s own dedication and will.
As a cancer survivor, Buck knows firsthand the incredible challenges life can present and how physical and mental training can help position an individual to overcome those difficulties. FORGE. was born out of Buck’s love for the community of individuals he works with and is inspired by.
